We left on Monday to begin our time in India. The only hassle was figuring out what to bring and what to leave behind. In the end we settled on traveling with 2 bags each. The flight from NY to Paris was non-eventful. The construction at Charles De Gaulle airport continues but this time they brought us right to the terminal we needed to be at, rather than driving to all the other terminals first.
The nice people from the Taj West End were waiting for us at the Bengalooru Airport. We achieved our first victory of the trip when all of our luggage safely made it's way with us from the US.Our second victory happened today when we settled on an apartment. It's fairly close to the office, seemingly quiet, within walking distance to a mall and other shopping and (like most things in Bangalore) 25-40 mins by car to everything else.
Tomorrow we meet our driver and go to the office for the first time.
